Imagine you have a store your data or specifically data of your website so that your visitors (customers) can view your website online. You need hosting service which let you store your data on their server on computer so it can be accessed over the internet.
Same goes for storing a data of your virtual tours. You need to store the data on some server.
If you want to upload your virtual tour to your website, one option is to store data of the virtual tours on your webhosting (website storage). Second option is to buy external storage elsewhere and load your virtual tour on your website from external source.
Which option is better? It depends on the speed, size and price of the storage available.
For example we recommend to store clients virtual tour data on their end (aka client’s webhosting), however if the hosting is slow or not suitable for some reason, we offer a fast external storage of ours with a CDN (Content Delivery Network) feature to provide the best possible results for our clients.
