Panoramic head is a part of the stative, which is used to capture panoramas or even 360° photos. More precisely, it is a specialized tripod head that lets the photographer rotate the head so that it can capture a wider field of view, but at the same time does not create a parallax point (parallax-point).
This way, there are not many images overlapping from the different points, and therefore, a stitching software can easily stitch the pictures together to create a panorama.
